More than 4.7 million people worldwide have been diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, and more than 315,000 people have died.

The cumulative number of diagnoses in the United States is the highest in the world, with more than 1.48 million people and 89,000 deaths. Followed by Russia, a total of 280,000 people were diagnosed and 2,631 people died. The UK has the third highest number of diagnoses globally, with a total of 240,000 people diagnosed, and the second largest number of deaths worldwide, with 34,716 deaths.
